How To Maintain Skid Mounted Transformer
Maintenance Method Of Transformer:
1.Connect the standby transformer, disconnect the circuit breakers at the high and low voltage sides of the transformer to be repaired, remove the operation fuse of the power supply, close the grounding switch, fully discharge the transformer, lock the high-voltage cabinet, and place the “Stop Closing” sign at the switch.
2.Maintenance of dry-type transformer: clean the porcelain bushing and shell to ensure that they are clean and tidy; check whether the shell, gasket and porcelain bushing have cracks, discharge marks or rubber pad aging, etc.; check whether the cable and bus have deformation, and solve the problems in a timely manner.
3.Check whether the bus contact surface is clean. If there is oxide layer on the contact surface, remove it and apply electric composite grease.
4.Check whether the transformer is well grounded, whether the ground wire is corrupt, and solve the problems in time.
5.Check all lead terminals, pins, grounding screws and connecting bus screws, and tighten them in time if they are loose.
6.Remove the dust around the transformer and on the accessories, and check whether the fire-fighting facilities and ventilation system are in good condition.
7.Disconnect the grounding switch on the high-voltage side, measure the insulation resistance with a digital megger, compare the resistance value with the factory value, and if it is lower than 70% of the factory value, handle it in time.
8.Close the grounding switch on the high-voltage side to fully discharge the transformer.
9.Check and clean tools and leave the site.
10.Close the power operation fuse of the circuit breaker at the low voltage side, disconnect the grounding switch at the high voltage side, and close the circuit breaker at the high voltage side of the transformer after checking that the line is correct, and then test run and remove the marking plate.

4.Ensure that all screws of the transformer are fastened in place to avoid accidents.
